Maybe it’s the time of year. Maybe it’s the oh-shit realization that global warning is real. Or maybe it’s just some wacky inventor that will undoubtedly be resigned to the history pages soon but in the spirit of the uno here’s another electric vehicle that some clearly mad inventors want you to throw your hard earned dollars at the nUCLEUS. Now, I like to think I am an adventurous guy: I’ll try most things once but the nUCLEUS looks plain wrong. I’m not an expert in motorcycle design but I’d say you’re screwed in a side wind. And probably a headwind too as it made it’s way in between the panels, likely ripping them off in the process. That and you might cut yourself on the fairing which could clearly just be sheet metal poorly welded together.

And that’s not to mention the ridicule you’d get from everyone else as you turned up at the local track day or meet up – “look, Alx turned up on the electro-shed again”.

OK, I know I am being unfair and this clearly is just a concept vehicle and perhaps we need to be more enthusiastic about new designs (after all, little has really changed about bikes in years, has it?) but I’m going to sit this one out. Well, at least until I can test ride one…
