A bit of background…

Based out of Toronto, Canada, eatsleepride is the first project to come out of Kissaki Red, a recent start-up created by Alex Crookes and Nick Dunlop. It was founded in 2008 to bring their entreprenurial experience to a range of issues and ideas.

Prior to starting Kissaki Red, Nick and Alex were the founders of Sharp Robot in 2002 which provided a mobile content and full service distribution platform to mobile carriers and media companies across North America. Sharp Robot was sold to m-Qube in 2004 where they remained as senior executives and continued to drive growth before ultimately selling the combined company to VeriSign in 2006 for US$250m.

Alex and Nick are both passionate bikers, riding both street and dirt as often as possible.
