How to watch the MotoGP for free

MotoGP is an expensive sport to see live. Unless you're a playboy millionaire, you're going to be watching it on TV or the internet.

You can watch each race on motogp.com, but the coverage is expensive and can cost as much as 35 EUR (or $50 USD) per month. For that money, there's a lot of extra value like exclusive video footage and interviews but what do you do if you don't have the cash?

The BBC broadcasts the MotoGP on-demand free in the UK. Outside of the country you can watch the MotoGP coverage using the BBC iPlayer App for $9 USD a month. But if $9 is a stretch and you don't have an iMachine?

You can watch the MotoGP for free using a plugin for Chrome and Firefox called Hola. It let's you choose what country you want your browser to set as your "home" location and let's you unlock country specific video. Now just visit any web site as usual, but set the country flag to the country you want.

To watch the MotoGP using Hola, go to http://bbc.co.uk,click the flag to set it to UK and then go to the BBC iPlayer page to watch the 2013 Motegi MotoGP

You'll be watching the MotoGP no matter where you are in the world and you won't see: "this content is not available in your country".

Having missed most the races this season, it's something I wish I'd found sooner and with the championship going to the wire, I'm totally pumped I'll be able to watch Valencia in two weeks.
