Artist Makoto Endo paints motorcycles with excruciating detail using chopsticks

Makoto Endo was born in Niigata, in the centre of Japan. He's deeply rooted in the creative business of advertising. Himself a rider, he's also profoundly connected to motorcycles.

In a devine grace, Endo paints excrusiating detail into his motorcycle subjects using chopsticks and ink on large paper surfaces.

In the video, Makoto live paints a series of bikes at Iron & Air Motorcycle Magazine 9th issue event in Brooklyn, NY earlier this year.

‟Humans can be distinguished into two types,” Makoto told Wired Magazine. ‟One rides a bike, the other does not. The one who rides doesn't care how much it costs, or about pain or injury. I paint only for them.”

You can get your own bike imortalized by Makoto Endo for about $1,500 to $2,500 or if that's too rich, you can buy a print for about $300. See more at http://makotoendo.net
