TX-87 – From Center to Sabine Lake, Through Sabine National Forest, Texas

The ride along Highway 8 in East Texas is a good mix of sweeping curves, changes in elevation and the nice scenery.

The motorcycle route runs through the scenic Sabine National Forest, which forms part of the boundary between Texas and Louisiana.

Starting at the city of Center in Shelby County, just head southbound onto take TX-87 and towards Sabine lake—a 90,000-acre salt water estuary on the Texas-Louisiana border—where you’ll find the end of the route.
