The ride from from Silver City to Caballo is certainly one of the best motorcycle routes in New Mexico. The motorcycle route along NM-152 is a great mixture of beautiful scenery, tight turns, switchbacks and lots of hairpins.

The ride starts in the town of Silver City,located in southwestern New Mexico, and goes westbound along NM-152 towards the town of Caballo. The route is very technical, featuring continuous hairpins and elevation changes while offering breathtaking mountain views. Gas up in Silver City, before starting the journey, there are no gas stations along the way, and watch for cattle wandering near the roads.

Really fun ride. I run this route several times a year. Just rode it two days ago. This is one of the best rides in NM.
