The Andrews family are car collectors, but amongst their collection (which is being sold off) is a fully working replica of the lightcycle from the movie Tron Legacy.

By fully working, I mean yes, it can be ridden. Drive is provided by a 96v motor and lithium ion batteries. I'm not sure it's been made to be ridden far, and the current owners have just ridden it around their museum.

Apparently, it does light up (like the movie) but there's no word on it shooting out impermeable light beams when you cut off cagers. I sincerely doubt you'll be able to start riding by leaping in the air either.

If you're interested, it's going for auction at Sothebys on May 2nd, and it's expected to go for $25-40k.
