The Royal Enfield Bullet is originally a British made bike in production since 1931, now produced in India. It has a single cylinder OHV 499 cc engine.
The Bullet name has been around since 1931 and has gone through few production changes. The Bullet is the longest production run of any motorcycle in the world, in continuous production since 1948.
The bike is extremely popular in India, being used by the Indian Army since the 40's. The Bullet made in India went unchanged for a total of 40 production years. The Bullet is still in production today in India, now called Royal Enfield Motors, who bought the rights to the name in 1995.
