Quick Release Helmet Add-On

Well my search is over. I finally found the perfect quick release for my helmet strap. I've looked at or tried just about everything on the market, and they were just too flimsy or downright scary unsafe. When I switched from my AGV helmet with the built-in quick release, to a Bell EVO, with the giant D-ring, I didn't realize how bad I would miss that quick release, so the search began. The RYDEWEAR helmet strap quick release claims to be the strongest made, and I believe them. Most quick release buckles are made of plastic with or without some thin metal. The RYDEWEAR buckle is all metal, and feels very solid.

I will probably cut the large D-ring off at some point, and just leave the small ring to use with the helmet lock on the bike. The excess strap just tucks right in, out of the way and feels quite comfortable.

The buckle is smooth, and easy to use. This will make my life so much easier. One less thing to fiddle with on a ride, with or without your gloves on. They are available at RYDEWARE and Amazon.

Hi @Marina, that is the one with the strap adapter snap. The one without it, I think is a dollar less. I did not particularly like the idea of the snap adapter, just feels too weak to me. if the snap was replaced with a rivet or screwed together rivet I would feel a lot better about it.
