You don't often see a purple Ducati on the streets of England but recently on the set of Kick-Ass 2 --a super-hero action comedy-- these photos where snapped.

Despite looking like a natural on the bike, actress Chloe Moretz the 15-year old who plays Hit Girl, cannot ride. With a movie like Kick-Ass involving tonnes of stunts, a stunt-woman has taken over the motorcycle riding duties for her. In the graphic novel Hit Girl rode a custom chopper motorcycle, but in the movie it has been replaced with a Ducati 1199 Panigale in order to broaden the appeal of the movie. With this super heroine ready to battle evil doers, this Purple Ducati will kick some serious butt.

Chloe Moretz plays the insanely awesome super heroine/assassin/butt-kicker Hit-Girl. The movie is about ordinary people who decide to become super-heroes albeit with no powers.

Kick-Ass 2 is directed by Jeff Wadlow and features the return of Aaron Johnson, Chloe Moretz, Nicolas Cage, Lyndsey Fonseca and Christopher Mintz- Plasse. They are joined by newcomers John Leguizamo, Robert Emms, Morris Chestnut, Donald Faison, Olga Kurkulina, Any Nyman and Jim Carrey. Universal Pictures plans to release Kick Ass 2 in theaters on June 28th, 2013.

And what do they mean changed from a chopper to a panigale to broaden the appeal? More like because Ducati gave them a load of cash

Hmm. Even if she was older than fifteen and could ride, there's no way she'd be allowed to.
