Gregg Desjardins of Gregg's Customs created The Hellion in 2007, a Yamaha Road Star Warrior Engine in a custom designed and built chassis. At 505 lbs, riding the Hellion feels like you're sitting on a B-29 engine!

The Yamaha Road Star Warrior engine has a 1670 cc (102 ci) displacement. The Hellion is beautifully finished with custom aluminum bodywork and wheels. Gregg's Customs' aluminum work and beautifully sculpted tank and tailpiece testify to DesJardins' skill at hand forming aluminum.

DesJardins was determined to keep the wheelbase short, he accpomplished this by switching the Road Star's traditional left-hand drive to the right. He also removed the entire jackshaft assembly, this trimmed the engine size by nearly 10 inches, addressing his wheelbase concerns. It also allowed him to push the swingarm pivot as close as possible to the engine. The swingarm which is now mounted to the left side of the bike, pivots directly on the frame using bearings. This feat of engineering allowed DesJardins to discard standard components that are usually required to keep a swingarm in place.

The talented designer now outsources his talents by building exclusive one-off customs for clients on his website.

that is a very tasty piece of engineering.
