Motorcycles in Brooklyn and New York City
New York City, New York, United States of America
I was out and about in New York City last week for some r&r. We stayed in a new favourite hotel in the Meet Packing called the Jane Street Hotel, with ample free street parking around.

Across the bridge in Brooklyn, I popped in to see Chris Lesser at Union Garage. This tiny shop with a huge community is growing up in to a huge shop. Check Union's Instragram for news of the opening party next week.

Next door is Tyler Lunceford, 33 of Moto Pistole a Ducati master mechanic and tuner, slash panhead aficionado. If you want Tyler's help on a bike, call to get on the waiting list. It's like that.

In the same space, is Moto Borgotaro, a custom and restoration shop in Brooklyn co-owned by Peter Boggia and Chris Lesser of Union Garage.

@Alex funny thing is the picture of you in the Honda shirt has the fashion police Patty wagon backing up to you slowly. You must have looked over your shoulder and made a break for it just after the snap 😕 even I am tired of NYC, and I have never been there……
@VRSCDX - tired of NYC? You're probably tired of life... And yes the fashion police are after me and have been for some years.
So a little R and R for the sore fingers. I was wondering why it was so quiet around ESR. Canadians just find all the best places to hang when out and about. @Alex being a hybrid he may still need to hide from the fashion police 😉
Moto Borgotaro looks super cool, this 1972 V7 is more or less the perfect motorcycle:

This /5 is also very, very lovely:

I don't care for most customs, the occasional cafe race is cool, but these classics are just great. I want one.
