Mod and Rocker Clashes of "Prosperous Proportions" Meetup in Toronto

Toronto, Ontario, Canada

If you thought the the debate was settled years ago, it's not. Rockers right?

No "moral panic" here. So what if the common rocker hairstyle of a pompadour is now replaced with a well groomed beard? At least the Mods no longer sew fish hooks or razor blades into the backs of their lapels.

The biggest British social movement, born in the 1960s lives on. In the 60s, newspapers described the mod and rocker clashes as being of "disastrous proportions". Today, Mods n Rockers events happen in every major city. No fighting just good time and beautiful bikes. What better occasion to bring out the old, and the new. Here's a few highlights from the Toronto's annual Mods n Rockers pre-ride meet up at Town Moto on Ossington last night.

Great story and pictures Marina.   Mods & Rockers, what a cool get together.   I will admit, I've never heard of Mods and Rockers before.   Now I'm searching all over the Internet for Mods and Rockers in my area.  By process of elimination, I must be a Rocker.   Keep the stories coming!
