The 1098 version was on my list when looking for a new bike. I knew I wanted a streetfighter with a "cool" factor and Ducati sure does fit that bill. Direct competition would be the Kawasaki Z1000, Honda CB1000R etc. The Ducati certainly leads on the performance side of things, but does have the most aggresive rider position making it a hard sell for longer trips or touring. But I still love those looks !!
