The Greaser is one of four production CSC-150s made by the California Scooter Company. The one pictured here is the 149cc Greaser model with red ape hanger bars and a custom exhaust. This motorcycle is powered by a 4-stroke single cylinder motor capable of 13.3 hp and 9.1 lb-ft of torque. 5-speed transmissions are standard across all the machines from CSC Motorcycles and feature both electric and kick starts.

With a claimed fuel economy of 90 MPG (2.61L/100km) the CSC-150 could potentially manage 270 miles (434km) on a single 3 gallon (11.4L) tank of gas.

The custom Greaser pictured here was found at Motorcycle Enhancements in Oakville Ontario. CSC Motorcycles are street legal across Canada and the 150s retail for about $4,500.

A big guy riding along downtown in a tiny bike, will get some epic stares. I love it!

It feels quite solid. I did find the shifting a bit sketch (I'll get in to it a bit more on my ride report.) To me 150 is perfect for comfortable in-town commuting

It looks so tiny, and frail. How does it ride? Personally, I think a 149cc motor is too small (though 13bhp is pretty respectable from it) and would rather see a 250cc version. It does however look a very well designed little package

note The red ape hanger bars on the bike doesn't normally have wiring wrapped around it. The bike pictured was a quick prep for this shoot, normally the wiring would be run inside the bars and is out of sight.
