Lunch ride aggression

It was a nice day in Charlotte to take a lunch ride over to the Olde Mecklenburg Brewery, a favorite of mine. And while that was the joy of the ride, I have to say that people on the road can really ruin a nice ride in a hurry. It wasn't two miles after leaving OMB that cars were turning in front seemingly without looking and in general moving about like I don't exist. That's sort of the approach I take to riding anyway, but when people do stupid things, I get a little heated. With that my pipes will not get the quiet baffles as I had planned, because currently they give me an option for awareness. You can debate whether the noise makes anyone aware, but there's a lot to be said for your own peace of mind.
