2,000 mile road trip on a damn dirt bike....

3 weeks from leaving on a 2,000 mile road trip with a Harley riding friend on my 400cc dirt bike. Should be an adventure! I did what I could to improve the road worthiness of the DRZ. Custom Fisher seat, Parabellum touring windshield, taller gearing (3 tooth smaller rear sprocket), added power adapter and RAM phone mount, and just ordered "vibranator" bar end fittings to reduce handlebar vibration. The bike has an "action packer" top box on a rack, Wolfman Blackhawk tank bag, and Wolfman Expedition medium dry duffel. This will be my longest motorcycle trip ever, on the smallest bike. Got away from motorcycles for about 20 years....back in it now. Anxious, nervous, excited to be taking this trip!
