Awesome Catskills Motorcycle Roads, New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania

Narrowsburg, New York, United States

Between the Catskills and the Poconos, you'll find some terrific motorcycle roads winding along the Delaware River about 90 minutes north of New York City. Not only is the area picturesque but it's the historic rolling farmland where Woodstock (in Bethel, NY) made musical history over three days in August of 1969.

Rolling hills, twisty roads and spectacular cliffs are a centrepiece for nature with tens of roadside waterfalls to explore.

Don't miss the Hawk's Nest. A winding road outside Port Jervis, New York. Its name is derived from the birds of prey that nest in the area. Try to arrive early morning or late afternoon, to avoid traffic. U-turns and re-rides are recommended. Both the Jersey Devil route and the Threesome take you to the peak.

Also worth stopping at the High Point State Park accessible by way of the Threesome route. Spectacular views and windy roads.

The Threesome

The Threesome winds you through great motorcycle roads across three states: New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

The Jersey Devil

This motorcycle route includes a stop in Swan Lake (strange town, but worth a stop at the lake to see the swans) and a ride through the Hawk's Nest.

Big Indian Rivers

This motorcycle road is a long ride with a stop in Bethel, NY to see the site of the famous Woodstock festival and worth a walk around the museum. You'll also wind through the low key Frost Valley Road and one of the oldest bridges in the area (bring $1 to cross).

Peace Love Motorcycle

This road takes you from Woodstock to Frost Valley with a stop for lunch at the Brooklyn-style Phoenecia Dinner (not to be missed).

Mountain Mamas

These motorcycle roads weaves along winding rivers for a full day of riding and discovery.

Babes Ride Out

Ladies if and you want to join a few hundred other female riders ride these routes, meet me at the BabesRideOut, the last weekend in May.

Enjoy the ride.

Thank you babes for the fine maps and pics. My wife and I are staying at the Villa Roma Resort for the first week of June and this info could not come at a more valuable time. Have saved all routes and can't wait to explore. Cheers
