1975 Can-Am Motocrosser

Can-Am Motocrosser (1975) - White

This 1975 Can-Am Motocrosser was ridden by AMA Motorcycle Hall of Famer Jimmy Ellis. He rode the bike to his only AMA championship, the 1975 250cc Supercross Series.

The Can-Am Motorcross has an air-cooled, two-stroke 247cc Rotax engine with 36 horsepower. Considered to be a machine that pioneered the motorcross world, it used oil injection, premix and rotary valve induction instead of the traditional piston-port configuration for precise intake timing.

As seen at the Indianapolis Motorcycle show and Trade Expo in February 2013
