1989 Honda GB500

Honda GB500 (1989) - Black

The Honda GB500 is a Japanese bike produced and imported by Honda New Zealand. The motorcycle was only in production from 1989 to 1990. The bike was based on the XBR500 and only found moderate success in Japan. In New Zealand many still survive on the road today. However the bike was found to be slow and too small for American riders.

The Honda CB500 has a single-cylinder, four-stroke, 499cc engine and 5-speed transmission. The seat height is 789.9 mm (31.1 in) and the dry weight is 160.4 kg (353.7 lbs).

As seen at the Indianapolis Motorcycle Show and Trade Expo in February 2013.
