Sportbike on the sand…

I don't own a bit of Icon gear at the moment, but all the gear I've seen up close is top notch, and they make awesome videos. Here's a stunt rider named Julien Welsch on a desert prepped Triple. Bet ya didn't know there was such a thing! I don't think you can buy a 17 inch rear tire like the one on the video, but I recall R1 Sjaak (the guy who goes around the world, thru all kinds of terrain on his R1) saying regular sportbike tires are fine in the sand, as long as you adjust the air pressure. He says he runs them almost-flat on the sand, and gets around (although probably not as quick as in this video) just fine.
