Pink Sneakers, Blue Pants and 101 Years. You're never too old to be on a motorcycle!

Often I have people come up to me when I’m on my bike and comment about how cool motorcycles are and how they've always wanted one. When I ask them why they don’t just get one the response I’m normally met with is “I’m too old to start riding.”

Well... Now you have no excuse! Avis Wheeler from Yarmouth, Nova Scotia had her first ride on a motorcycle when she was 95 years old and to celebrate her 101st birthday she had her second motorcycle ride. She plans to go for another ride on her 102nd birthday.

“To all the old people out there that say it can’t be done, it can be done. She just proved it.”
