Switchback Turns Along Grimsel Pass in Switzerland

Distance: 17.6 Km / 10.9 Mi Duration: 00:24:04

The Grimsel Pass is a mountain road located in Switzerland at an elevation of 2,164 metres. The pass offers a nice set of switchbacks and amazing alpine scenery. Grimsel Pass connects the upper valley of the river Aare (Haslital Valley) with the upper valley of the Rhône, crossing the continental divide between the North Sea and the Mediterranean Sea.

According to motorbikeeurope.com, there's a speed trap on the Grimsel pass every day, and you'll find them around halfway down the pass (on the northern ramp there is a lake with a dam) using IR equipment. They don't usually spend more than 1-2 hours there per day, but take it easy anyway, the fines are harsh in these parts.
