@Roxenmoxengirl

Hi there - well I cheated a little bit... I assembled the video on my computer, posted it to YouTube and then posted the YouTube URL to EatSleepRide .  Either that or I uploaded it straight from my computer...  it's a blur... lol

Was it only a month ago?  Yikes!

Cheers!

Hey Slyck ...no prob! Life's been crazy on my end too 🙂 ...Talk about thunderstorms ...it seems to be the year for them this year! How is it out East? It seems like there's thunderstorm risk every week over here 😛

As for your video ...quick question. How did you post it up? I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to post a vid! I finally noticed that there's a video option on the website ...but I usually post from right inside the app (where I can't find the option) So is it just me being blonde or did you just post it from the website rather than the app? Please help lol

@Roxenmoxengirl

Thanks for the comment and sorry I hadn't responded sooner! Mt Washington is about the highest in the region but is still nothing compared to the Rockies and the winds that you deal with.  That said, I've encountered some pretty strong gusts from time to time - usually when trying to outrun a thunderstorm!

Glad you enjoyed the video and I'll do some more "Ketchup Files" soon!  Cheers!

@SimonHolmes232 Glad you enjoyed it!  The Ninja took a bit of a beating - blew a fork seal which I noticed on the return ride ( aah!) but made it back OK.  It knackered the front tire due to wearing off-centre but it was getting down there anyway.  Got her all fixed up and planning some day rides this long weekend Woohoo! Keep the shiny side up!  Cheers!

Thanks for the slide show Slyck. That must have been one heck of a trip. I was exhausted from just looking at your maps! Looks like the Ninja served you well.

That's awesome! Glad you had a great road trip thru some nice mountain terrain 😉 That sign about the wind speed of over :digit_two::digit_zero::digit_zero: mph is crazy!! That brings to mind ...did you have to deal with any major crosswinds in those high elevations? I've ridden thru most kinds of ugly weather but those crosswinds are the scariest to me. Just recently in a high mtn pass I was seriously afraid that I'd be blown right off the road. It just wanted to pick me up and take me away :digit_zero:_:digit_zero: I guess it's worse for me than for guys cause I'm pretty light and my bike's light as well ...but that was seriously frightening!! But you made it home in one piece so that's a good sign lol ...thanks for sharing! I thoroughly enjoyed watching your video 🙂
