She's a sweet ride for sure. Big and tall (and a bit heavy) but she's got good power and handles like a champ. I already have my eyes in the 2013 model though. Slightly lighter, lower centre of grav, and easier on the eyes. They also upgraded the engine from an SV variant to a Gladius variant. The forums are abuzz with praise from V owners (stromtroopers) who upgraded from the old style.

A beauty. I've heard great things about the VStrom. That looks like a great road in the pic. Have you done any long trips, or have a favorite route?
