MPC day 1 riding

The Motorcycle Podcasters Challenge is off and running, so I mounted my stead and headed out to my favorite watering hole, Olde Mecklenburg Brewery. It's hot here in Charlotte this time of the year so leaving home after 8pm is almost a requirement. It was cooler than I expected but that was because I also got wet. Another thing common around here this time of the year is late day thunderstorms. This one was strange though because the sky was clear and sun was setting, but for a few miles the road was soaked! Took a little longer route to dry out a bit before stopping at OMB for a glass of their fabulous Copper. After just one I headed home which is about 9 miles taking the most direct path.

I got some riding in and will do more tomorrow to see if I can log 150 miles for max daily points.
