2009 Buell 1125R
Buell 1125R (2009) - Midnight Black
The Buell 1125R is an American sports-bike manufactured by Buell Motorcycle and ex-Harley-Davidson engineer Erik Buell, it was produced from 2008 to 2009.
The bike has a liquid-cooled four-stroke with four valve per cylinder, 72° v-twin 1,125 cc Helicon engine. The engine produced 126 hp and 83 ft lbs of torque at 3,000-10,000 rpm. The 1125R has a claimed top speed of 158 mph (254 km/h). The seat height is 30.5 in (775 mm) and the wet weight is claimed to be 466 lbs (211 kg).

The 1125R included several unique design features.
- In-frame fuel tank design
- Under engine mounted exhaust
- Single eight-piston front brake with inverted rotor, attached to the bike's front rim
- Drive belt instead of the traditional chain
Buell 1125R
Production of factory models stopped in October 2009, when Erik Buell announced the closing of the entire Buell Motorcycles range. However in November 2009, Erik Buell launched Erik Buel Racing, which currently produce race-only versions.
