Riding the Dacks Today

The day started with threatening skies. Left Blossvale NY at 10:30 am with Jennifer as Pillion, thought for sure we were going to get wet with all the grey and black clouds around us. Rode up Lee Center Road to Rt 26, wound our way to Boonville, up 12 and picked up Moose River road. They paved the entire road! Smoot as silk in some areas, I was looking for dirt and I got a super bike route! Oh Well, hit 28, took a right hand turn and then a quick left onto McKeever. This turns into gravel and takes you to a nice lake Woodhull lake which is very secluded and truly a nice find. Takes about 15 minutes to get there.

Next we ran up to Old Forge for a quick lunch and then up to Eagle Bay where we hit Uncas Road. This is a very easy hard pack dirt road that runs between Eagle Bay and Raquette Lake.

Fun little ride, nothing very challenging, I'll put more challenging rides up soon. Next is Uncas, very easy hard pack, but just nice to get off the pavement
