Jay Leno's Garage - 1933 Indian Four

The 1933 Indian Four is a 30 hp, inline-four 1266 cc motorcycle. In this video Jay Leno talks about how the bike is great for riding slow aroung 5 mph because the roads back then warranted slow riding. Jay also makes a bold statement "I think it's one of the best looking bikes of all time".

Jay proceeds to talk about some of the stupid and untrue myths associated with the bike. Myths like the fact it supposedly over heated and the cylinders glow red. The right hand throttles were often switched to the left side because as the myth goes police officers who rode the bike wanted to quick draw their guns.

Jay restored the bike in the 1980's and rode it everyday during the 80's.

The Indian Four has a 433 engine, the designation stands for the number of cylinders '4' and the year it was made '33'.

Jay then starts the 80 year old motorcycle with only one kick and proceeds to make an Harley Knucklehead joke; "One kick! Try that with a knucklehead".
