Canada's Amarok P1a To Tackle Pikes Peak
Colorado, United States of America
It looks like the world of electric motorcycle racing is pressing ever harder.
Canadian team, Amarok just announced they will be racing their P1A at Pikes Peak this year. With six time champion, Greg Tracy in the saddle, they stand and excellent chance, too.

The P1a weighs in a 147kg, and though it makes "only" 80bhp, the torquiness of the electric motor should stand them in good stead on a hill climb. It's also been designed to be the best handling motorcycle on the planet.
And they'll need it. It's 12.4 miles long and no guard rails. With 156 turns and over 5000ft of elevation change, it's not for the faint of heart.
