White bird Grade Road & Whitebird Hill Road

White Bird and Grangeville are some of Idaho's best rides. US 90 To Whitebird Summit is a four lane highway that offers loads of sweepers as it climbs out of the Salmon River Valley. White Bird Hill Road rises over a mile up in seven miles as it connects back to Whitebird Summit on US 95, not far from the historical battle site where the Nez Perce Indians clashed with the U.S. Cavalry in 1877. White Bird Grade Road also connects to US 95 and offers just as scenic riding via heaps of stacked switchbacks. This old section of road rises high and is much less crowded than the newer 95.
