Let's get out of the house

So what do you do when its a Saturday of the long weekend and you are bored?

Well you find some interesting places and head out for the day on the bikes. Maybe that's just what we do.

Husband wanted to show up a great chip place, so we head off to Kaladar. Right off Hwy 7 we stopped at the Spud box and had lunch. The poutine was large and yummy and the fish and chips husband had looked good.
Then it was off for ice cream in Prince Edward county. Slickers, just a little shop in "downtown Bloomfield" is known for their old fashion made ice cream. It was a great place for a cool treat. They are cash only if you find yourself stopping by for a treat but there's a ATM not far from the store.

It was time to head home. We had our treats and the day was coming to and end. Off to the Glenora ferry we go to head back to Kingston. Pictures were taken as we waiting in line.
