"New" Tire

I had owned this NC700X for about 100 mi and got a nail in my tire. I replaced it and then rode 11k on the new one. The punctured one was professionally 2 part patch plugged and sat around for a year. Now it's mounted on the rim and I'm riding it. I know there's some that would never ride a patched tire but having had it done by a very experienced Mech in my presence I ride with confidence. On a separate note, working in my garage which has no power by flashlight sucks.
