The DogSaucer Motorcycle Trailer

Nova is a dog who likes to ride with owner Greg Hudome from Chester Springs, Pennsylvania. Since 2001, the two have logged "many miles" in the Departement of Transportation approved vehicle called the DogSaucer. Now Hudome is looking to comercialize the dog tow vehicle with help from motorcycle and dog lovers on Kickstarter. He's looking for $600,000 but has only raided $40 todate so we'd like to help him out and promote his project.

The Kickstarter funding for DogSaucer will go towards upgrading the production facility and getting the product to market.

Nova gets comfort, built-in food and water bowls. She's says "it's a howling good time".

Motorcylists are known dog lovers but how Nova's DogSaucer will fare on the twisties is still unknown.

Hudome intends to retail the dog trailer in two models. The basic for $6,000 and the fully loaded for $8,000. However, people can pre-buy the DogSaucer on Kickstarter for $3,995 and $5,995 respectively.

For that price, we'd suggest including some major storage and maybe lose the ability for the dog to stick her head out the dome - looks like an accident waiting to happen.

Anyway you look at it the DogSaucer it's an improvment over the home-made alternative.
