Ride With A Group - Share Location Privately With A Group
Group riding, especially on a long tour, is a complicated bonding experience, and the EatSleepRIDE App makes it easy for a group to keep track of each other on the road.
Group Riding Made Easy
When you make yourself visible on ESR, your location is obfuscated by 5 - 10 miles (8 - 16 km) to maintain your privacy.
Share your exact location in My Ride Group
You can reciprocally share your exact location on the map with specified riders in My Ride Group.
To maintain privacy, both riders must mutually add each other to their Ride Groups.
- Go to Go Ride > Group Ride
- Tap the Manage Riders button and enter a rider's username

- Type the first few characters of the Rider's username

- Tap the rider's name to add him/her to your Ride Group

- Add more riders to your ride group or tap Done

- Now you'll see your Ride Group list
Pull to refresh your ride group. To maintain privacy, only riders who mutually have each other added to their respective Ride Groups will see each other on the map.

Stop Sharing My Location
Stop sharing your location by unchecking the rider in Manage Riders Or alternatively go to Me > Share Location > Nobody
