The SyncRIDE is a week of short moto-doc videos where seven riders take us along on their routes. The inspiring videos lead up to the SyncRIDE event Saturday May 27th, 2017.

Riding a motorcycle is active meditation. Bike and rider don't just travel through nature they experience the elements first hand. The heat, the cold, the wind, the rain, the beauty and the danger - it's all so close there is no time to think of other things other than the immediate. On a motorcycle we live in the now.

James T returned from his tour of duty with the US Marine Corps in Iraq and has dedicated himself to finding the stillness within and sharing his enlightenment with others who struggle with PTSD. He has reconnected with what matters most for his soul - family, friends, community, nature and riding, all of which are represented in this nostalgic journey along Michigan's M31.

James T's route

Director Spencer Millsap followed James from Kalamazoo to Cross Village Township north along Lake Michigan during the most colourful time in fall. The journey was one that James had done many times with his family when he was a boy. They stopped in several towns along the way and camped next to the calm waters.

Find peace and be re-energized by Michigan's wide-open spaces and dramatic skies.
