The obsession continues!!

Here I am, again with a set of carburetors on my lap. This time they belong to a 1974 CB550F, the first of it's size for me to be working on, but since my experience with this action numbers somewhere in the low hundreds I suspect, it's a task that is neither overwhelming or completely welcome, but alas a very necessary exorcise..

JETTING, an act of utilizing the correct components to dial in the the most favorable formula of fuel and air into the cylinder chamber allowing the engine to run at it's optimum is not the easiest or exact task, I've come to find.

Before the internet was such a vast well of information on everything, I would spend plenty of time calling around to get my tips and tricks for shops or the older wrenches that have been eating grease for decades. Thankfully the Web, a simply miraculous resource is at our fingertips, but it's not always the ultimate solution. Often times a resolution is born of Trial and error .

Don't forget to enjoy the process of learning on the way to having that love of your life finally purring beneath you.. It's like acting.. if you don't have the passion or need to do it, perhaps you should find something else to work on.. but that was never my case.. bon chance!!
