Gisborne to Tokomaru Bay on backroads

this was a great ride i n the rain. the road was good. the rain appeared to have smoothed the gravel but not made it greasy. was a late afternoon ride to get my Sunday ride fix in. I hit Toko just on dark and came home on the highway. 5/hours of pure enjoyment. Don't lock your bike up for winter. Ride it.

and here there was a car that never made the corner and is only staying where it is thanks to the fence stopping it from rolling down the bank.

I always enjoy the pine needles section of this ride.
