A nice ride to the Chesapeake Bay

Being so close to The Bay, there is little elevation change. This was more of a scenic route through the country. Small towns with old colonial homes, farm fields set with crops and closer to the water, larger old homes with widow peaks or walkways. it was a nice day and breezy by the water.

This trip was relaxing and enjoyable. I rode with a couple, that both ride, and we were visiting their friends on the boat. Sunny all day and just the right temp. It was warm at highway speeds but at stops you wanted to find shade. Breezy by the water, but not on land. Really a great ride. Took a slightly different route home just to see a change of scenery. Being out on a peninsula, your selection of roads is limited.
