Doo's Bike

I travel everywhere on my SV. 63,000 original miles with no problems. I do all the servicing with exception of fork seals, new headset and valves. I use only synthetic oil which I attribute to my bike's longevity. I love this bike! Owned a bunch of bikes for over the years l, BMW RS100, CB 750, Honda Ascot V500 and other small Hondas and Yamaha's, but none of them gave me as much enjoyment than my trusty SV. Comfortable enough for multi day camping trips as long as 2 weeks, powerful enough to cruise at 90mph fully loaded and light enough for an occasional stint off-road on mild 4 wheel drive roads (rode "Titus Canyon" in Death Valley. I can ride fast enough in the canyons to keep up with most sport bikes and cruise when needed. I love this bike. Best I ever owned
