BMW R1200GS: Exploring My Favorite Motorcycle Roads After the Floods

Last month, the city of Calgary Alberta was flooded badly. Thanks to BMW Motorrad and Blackfoot BMW here in Calgary, I'm taking the new BMW R1200GS to feature what roads are rideable and which ones are not.

I'm not new to the R1200GS but I do miss it. I sold mine in 2012 to buy two F650GS Dakars. My wife Sandra and I made our way from Calgary to Ushuaia over the course of 14 months (and 48,000 km).

I am looking forward to riding the 2014 R1200GS this weekend and seeing how it does on washed out roads.
