If you were worried about filling your time at Indianapolis between the on- track action, you have no need for concern. The Indianapolis Motor Speedway today issued a press release with a full list of activities during the Red Bull Indianapolis GP weekend, and it is a very full list indeed. Apart from MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3, the Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson series takes to the track, where riders race specially prepared XR1200s against one another. Alongside the bellowing twins of the XR1200 racing, the futuristic whine of the FIM eRoadRacing series can also be heard, with the electric bikes taking to the track for another round of their world championship.

Saturday night sees more Harleys being raced, this time in their natural habitat. A large section of the paddock head to the Indiana State Fairground, to join the regular crowd watch the purest form of American motorcycle racing, the AMA Pro flat track series racing the Indy Mile. For a European, the Mile is a truly unforgettable experience.
