Thunder on the Strip - Geneva-on-the-Lake, Ohio - Sept 5th - 8th

For riders in the Northeast Ohio, Northwest Pennsylvania area, just a reminder that Thunder on the Strip in Geneva-on- the-Lake, Ohio is a little less than 2 weeks away. This year's event will take place from Thursday, September 5th, through Sunday, September 8th.

For those who haven't been, the event is far from "big", but does draw a few thousand riders from the nearby area to the small tourist town on the short of Lake Erie. It's primarily cruiser-focused, but the event isn't a bad way to spend an hour or two for the rest of us looking to get a small bit of "end of summer" riding in.

The event itself is free, as it essentially takes place throughout the main strip of the town. Cruising down the street with all the bikes parked along both sides of the quarter-mile drag.

Vendors are limited, but part of the main draw for the event are the regular food stops on the strip itself, like the vintage feel of Eddie's Grill.
