Police Rebel CMX250 in D.C.
Honda Rebel CMX250 Washington D.C., United States
You don't see many Honda Rebel police motorcycles outside of South America but we did spot a Rebel police gang in Washington DC.
Honda Rebel CMX250
Under powered and marketed as a "woman's motorcycle" back in 1985 when Honda launched the cruiser the bike was intended to attract new riders. When even the ladies were sadly underwhelmed, Honda gave the Rebel to the cops.

One of my boyfriend's high school buddies, Joey, was a motorcycle cop with the Metro Police Department for many years. Although he's retired from the force, Joey's still a legend among the cops here because not only did he do wheelies with the Rebel (how he did it - I have no idea), he was reprimanded for doing a wheelie on the Rebel while riding in formation. ๐
@EatSleepRIDE Do they even have sirens? I know that often those types of bikes are used by Traffic Control, specifically "parking meter patrol".
My understanding is that the Honda Rebels are primarily used for areas that the larger police cruisers and squad cars can't easily navigate due to traffic or obstructions. Personally, I'd have to imagine they'd be better off in that environment with dual-sports like the San Francisco Police use: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZsGX93xSjEk
