My First PD13 in Port Dover

I had heard a lot about Friday the 13th in Port Dover. I expected my first PD13 to be special given it's the first Friday the 13th of 2013. And it was!

The sky was dark and threatening to crash down thunderstorms at any moment. Although it definitely impacted attendance, the ominous weather didn't dampen the energy. Luckily, the day passed with just a few drizzles.

The turnout was impressive. I spoke to a few guys who were in Milwaukee for the Harley 110th and they where certain the crowds were bigger in Port Dover yesterday.

PD13 was a mix of everything at the same time complex and stereotypical about the incredible world of motorcycles. Great people, bikes, beer, trashy cover bands, vendors and even a number of spectators.
