The game centres around three characters: Michael, Trevor and Franklin. Each with a sorted background. Michael is 40 something and is often seen wearing slim suits. Franklin is the young and furious one and Trevor is a rough hill- billy. They come together to pull off a bank job but only by putting aside their differences to bring home the bacon. Source: Zimbio
The wheels of choice are a combination between cars and motorcycles including choppers, dirt bikes and sportbikes.

I haven't taken the wrapping off my copy of GTA5 yet (too much work to do in the meantime) but I recall that I spent a good deal of time on in-game motorcycles in GTA4 because they handled pretty decently for me. Of course, it was a completely unrealistic experience, if only because far fewer in-game drivers tried to merge into you compared to real-world LA traffic.
