Houston to Sturgis - August 2013 - 3400 miles

I always liked motorcycles, I had a few bikes before, Honda 500 four, Yamaha 350 trail and a Kawasaki 1000 (20 years ago). This year I decided to buy a cruiser, a Victory Cross Country tour, fully loaded to make a trip from Houston to Sturgis. Great fun with a friend on a rental Harley. We rode 3400 miles, most back roads to the north of the tip of Texas, made a left to corner to New Mexico, straight north to Colorado, north to Wyoming and left to South Dakota. Three days to arrive in Sturgis, riding 550 miles a day. Awesome trip, can't wait to ride to California May 2014.
