The 2013 Distinguished Gentleman's Ride, Sunday, Sept 29th at a city near you

The second edition of the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride will take place this Sunday, September 29th in a number of cities worldwide; around 5,000 riders of vintage motorcycles are expected to take part.

The event will be held in Australia, Mexico, Brazil, Canada, Ecuador, Greece, India, Iraq, Spain, Netherlands, South Africa and many other countries over five continents. A country listing and links to city specific events can be found on the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride website.

Classic and retro bikes, café racers, bobbers, flat trackers and custom motorcycles will all be riding together. Yes indeed fine chaps, the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride is all about classic bikes and classy gentlemen riding for fun and to support prostate cancer research.

Drag out the old suite, find a bowtie, borrow a monocle don your helmet and kick it for the distinguished gentlemen's ride in your city.

It's not only riding for fun but also riding for a good cause: Men's health. Today, prostate cancer is the second most frequently cancer in men around the globe. More than 900,000 cases were recorded only in 2008, and it is predicted cases will double by 2030.The DGR expects to raise over $250, 000 USD this year for prostate cancer research, prevention and cure.
