Husqvarna from Swedish roots and a famous history of racing success released the new 2014 models of motocross and enduro bikes to the media in Uddevalla (home of the annual MXGP of Sweden).

The new motocross' were focus-designed for off-road competitions. All Husqvarna motorcycles are manufactured in the production hub of Mattighofen in Austria, a plant considered one of the most advanced in Europe.

All motocross' feature light chromium molybdenum steel frame with poly-amide rear sub-frame and fully adjustable WP suspension, it also includes 250, 350, and 450 four-stroke models plus 85 minicross - ensuring improved stability and flexibility.

Enduro model range for 2014 Husqvarna offers a big range of very competitive two and four stroke high-tech enduro bikes. The TE125, 250 and 300 cc with two stroke engines goes together with the four strokes FE250, 350, 450 and 501 cc. All models feature the advanced WP 4CS closed cartridge front fork with four separate chambers, which represents a premium class, front-end suspension system. The enduro range - except the TE125 - features electric starters.

Engine
The high performance 2-stroke engine on the TC 85 is mated to a 6-speed gearbox and a power valve to maximize the power band, allowing riders to compete at the highest level with minimum running costs.

Crankshaft
The crankshaft of the TC 85 has been optimized for maximum performance while guaranteeing durability.

Clutch
Smooth and precise clutch action with the Formula hydraulic clutch.

Frame
The chromoly steel frame and lightweight aluminium rear sub-frame combine to offer unrivaled precision, maximum stability and rider confidence.

Swing-arm
The single-component casting process eliminates welding and guarantees consistent behavior and quality. Strong but light, the beautifully styled aluminium cast swing-arm provides perfect stability and safety.

Cooling
Reliable and efficient cooling is guaranteed by integrated crankcase cooling and two radiators.

Front Suspension
Completely adjustable WP suspension front and rear for maximum performance on any track. The 43 mm upside down fork with 270 mm of travel has all the high quality characteristics of the full size Motocross models in the Husqvarna range.

Rear Suspension
The PDS rear suspension offers stability, precision and rider comfort in extreme conditions. The shock features complete adjust-ability and can be setup to perfectly match rider preference and track conditions.

WheelsBlack Excel rims and CNC-machined hubs play an important role in keeping overall weight to a minimum, while offering great stability as well as adding to the aggressive look of the TC 85.

Brakes
Latest generation Formula brakes offer superior stopping power and feeling, guaranteed by the cutting-edge radial, four piston brake caliper and 220 mm wave disc at the front, while at the rear a two-piston caliper and 210 mm wave disc gives the rider complete confidence.t

Good to see Husky making bikes again. After BMW sold them to Stefan Pierer (who is also the CEO of KTM) no-one was quite sure what would happen. It seems we needn't have worried and while we may not see the baja any time soon, the TC looks great.
