Randy Mamola and perhaps the best high-side crash save *ever*

The title really does say it all. It's an incredible video of Randy Mamola somehow managing to stay on and (almost) in control of his motorcycle during the 1985 San Marino Grand Prix.

If you think it's not that interesting, let me just tell you that the motorcycle is airborne at one point, and the style is more akin to rodeo clown than GP rider.

Oh, and he comments the whole thing.

Yeah, Marina - Randy's 'Dance of death'.. 500GP was a crazy class back in the 80s. Highly-tuned two-strokes with explosive power delivery meant most crashes were big hi-sides with the riders taking scarey amounts of air. Randy's big save is the stuff of legend.
